Star Guardian is a beloved thematic in League of Legends, exploring an alternate universe where magical girls are called to a tragic fate.
I was honored to write the script for the Everything Goes On music video, created in partnership with Porter Robinson and Red Dog Culture House.
Shine together
I consulted with creative directors and narrative writers to focus on the story of two relationships: Kai’Sa and Akali, and Xayah and Rakan.
I collaborated with our writing team, vis dev artist Julia Shi, and composer Porter Robinson to craft a resonant sequence that drew inspiration from magical girl anime, western animation, and the emotion of the song itself.
Our marquee music video served as one of the focal points of the Star Guardian 2021 event.
